When it comes to Cleveland weddings, the architecture cannot be missed within this city’s beautiful venues. If you are looking for a stunning venue that doesn’t require much finessing, look no further than four of our jaw dropping favorites.
1. The Cleveland Museum of Art
This museum is not only home to 45,000 works of art from around the world but one of the most sought-after venues in all of Cleveland. The enchanting atrium, where most events are held, opened in 2012 as just a fraction of the updates stemming from the $350 million-dollar renovation completed in 2013. Within the venue itself, you’ll find your event caterer through Douglas Katz, one of Cleveland’s finest chefs and owner of Provenance. With a space that can accommodate up to 2,000 guests, your guests will have plenty of room to enjoy their stunning surroundings and dance the night away.
2. The Ariel Pearl Center
Recently renovated, this venue just began taking reservations in February of 2017. This hidden jewel was once a 1923 bank building, and if you were intrigued by the marble & stone architecture at the Cleveland Museum of Art, you’ll love this cozier space as well. With large arched windows and intricate ceilings, this space comfortably holds just about 200 guests. Aside from the beautiful ballroom, there’s a separate cocktail space plus the original bank vaults which make for a unique backdrop for photos. The Ariel Pearl Center has a long list of preferred vendors but is currently open the caterer of your choice.
3. The Club at Hillbrook
This stunning Tudor mansion was once a private home in the lovely city of Chagrin Falls until 1952 when the owners turned the estate into a club. While the interior of the club is furnished with spectacular mantels of carved wood and marble, the colorful gardens, vast woods and fantastic views provide picturesque backdrops for your event. Brides often choose this location for a natural or ethereal space, as the club hosts most of its wedding ceremonies outside against the lush green, wooded backdrop. Since the club is private, you will need a member to sponsor your event or you could apply for membership yourself.
4. Hyatt Regency Cleveland at the Arcade
Opened in 1890, the Arcade is actually one of the country’s first shopping malls. This unique Victorian-style venue has been impeccably maintained and can accommodate up to 400 seated guests on two separate levels; including the vast rotunda. With the Hyatt Hotel on the third and fourth floors of this venue, guests are never too far away from the party. The 100-foot-high-skylight not only provides incredible natural light but a sense of splendor. At each end of the venue are two marble staircases adorned with brass railings; needless to say, perfect for an elegant a grand entrance.
