Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Guests:

Guests may cancel their reservation in accordance with the following terms, according to the cancellation policy chosen by the Private Space Owner.

  1. Processing Fee: Venyou charges a processing fee (currently 5%) for processing transaction, in addition to any commission venyou may take from payments made for reservations. The Venyou processing fee of 5% is non-refundable.

  2. How to provide notification of cancellation: A reservation is officially canceled once Venyou receives your cancellation request at the email address: cancellation@venyouspace.com

  3. Cancellation Policy: Venyou allows Space Provider to choose among four cancellation policies:

    1. Flexible: Cancellations may be made by the guest up to 2 business days prior to the Event Date. Space Provider shall refund the entire Usage Fee if cancellation is made by Event Organizer during the foregoing period, except for venyou processing fees of 5% which are non-refundable; or

    2. Moderate: Cancellations may be made by the guest up to 5 days prior to the Event Date. Space Provider shall refund the entire Usage Fee if cancellation is made by Event Organizer during the foregoing period, except for venyou processing fees of 5% which are non-refundable; or

    3. Strict: Cancellations may be made by the guest up to 1 week prior to the Event Date. Space Provider shall refund the 50% of the Usage Fee if cancellation is made by Event Organizer during the foregoing period, except for venyou processing fees of 5% which are non-refundable; or

    4. Custom: Private Space Owner may provide its own customized cancellation policy that would be included in the “upload your own contract” area, provided that the venyou processing fees 5% shall at all times be non-refundable.

  4. Guests WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND IN RESPECT OF CANCELLATIONS MADE NOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHOSEN CANCELLATION POLICY.

Cancellation by Private SPace owners:

Private Space Owners may cancel a reservation of its Space for an Event in accordance with the following terms:

  1. Processing Fee: Venyou charges the guest a processing fee (currently 5%) for processing transaction, in addition to any commission Venyou may take from payments made for reservations. The venyou processing fee of 5% is non-refundable.

  2. How to provide notification of cancellation: A reservation is officially canceled once venyou receives your cancellation request at the email address: cancellation@venyouspace.com

  3. Cancellation Fee: Private space owners who cancels a reservation less than 30 days prior to the Event Date will be charged a $100 cancellation fee in addition to the amount of the processing fee paid by the guest (which venyou may refund to the guest in its discretion). The Private Space Owner can only cancel any Event or booking once in any six month period. We will automatically deduct any applicable cancellation fee or processing fee for which you are responsible, from the next payout.

  4. Unavailable/Blocked calendar: Your calendar will stay blocked for the cancelled Event Date and you will not be able to accept another reservation for the same dates of the canceled reservation.

Does Venyou automatically refund the security deposit?

The private space owners are responsible for issuing the refund of the security deposit to the guest(s). If the space owner is using Venyou’s payment system, there is an automatic setting.

How long will it take for the refund to reach my bank account?

Usually refunds through Venyou take from 5-7 working days.
